Information for Contributors

General

Journeys is a refereed journal.
We welcome submissions for consideration. They should meet the criteria enumerated below and then be sent to the editors:

Articles must be in English, and should not normally exceed 50,000 characters including notes, bibliography, etc. (approximately 17 pages).

All contributions should be submitted as three, double-spaced typescripts printed on one side only: they should be accompanied by a disc copy in Microsoft Word or Word Perfect version 5.0 or above. Please mark discs clearly with (a) the label, path, file type and file name; (b) exact programme used and (c) author's name and postal, fax and/or e-mail address. A short CV (five lines) with your address or affiliation should also be enclosed. Authors whose contributions are selected for publication will be required to submit a short abstract and list of key words prior to publication.

Contributors who are not writing in their mother-tongue must make every effort to get submissions checked by a native English speakers before they are sent in. We can correct minor errors and infelicities but unsatisfactory articles will be returned to the author for correction and/or rewriting.

Footnotes must be kept to a minimum and placed at the end of the paper in the following format:

Diagrams, charts, etc. (but not photographs) are welcome. They should be on separate sheets with the contributor's name and other information, in pencil, on the back; good-quality laser-printed copies are essential for reproduction.

Contributions will usually be published within two years of final acceptance.
